Or, maybe, more importantly, what is a logo NOT?
- A logo is not an advertisement for your company or business. A logo does not contain your address or your phone number. It may or may not include your company’s tagline. A common mistake is to include too much information about your business in the logo itself.
A good logo is a visual representation of your business. As your company grows, your business becomes known by your logo (think Apple or Nike). But, even as a small business, your logo is just as important.
- A logo is: an emblem, trademark, brand, symbol, design, or mark
A designer should spend time with you talking about your vision, your ideas, what you want to see in a logo and then provide you with several drafts to then work from.
